Aware Server is a service virtualization and grid computing platform built completely on top of .NET 3.0 specifically Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Workflow Foundation.
Aware Server is a has dramatically decreased the learning curve needed to use Windows Workflow and Windows Communication Foundation by allowing businesses to focus on their logic and not the small details around both of these technologies.
At its core Aware Server is built on of a dynamic SOA infrastructure allowing rapid development, deployment and provisioning of WCF based services. On top of this core infrastructure are a set of value added services for hosting any Windows Workflow instance as well human interaction and grid computing.
All nodes in an Aware environment share a distributed service registry allowing any node to query for necessary services. Also with this distributed registry your services can have dependencies on each other and receive notifications when necessary dependencies go up and down.
Aware Server has complete Visual Studio 2005 integration (soon will have complete .NET 3.5 and Visual Studio 2008 as well). There is F5 debugging support for both services and business processes eliminating the necessity of building test clients.
Aware Server allows rapid development of grid computing based business processes including applications that need simple batch processing to complex Monte Carlo simulations utilizing Aware’s built in implementation of SPRNG (Scalable Parallel) based random number generators. Distributed tasks can be simple class to Windows Workflow instances.
Aware Server also ships with a complete set of management and monitoring tools ensuring both the application developers and administrators have complete visibility into what is running.
